We couldn't imagine a better year-round playground than our peaceful 600-acre mountain lake. Many of our adventurous guests start their day with a five-mile walk, run, or bike along the quiet winding road that traces the shoreline. Others take to the water immediately for a morning swim, or to paddle in a canoe or kayak in search of the loons they heard calling during breakfast. Later in the day the pace of life speeds up with opportunities for motorized excursions from pontoon boat tours to waterskiing, wakeboarding, and tubing. Of course for many, the best thing about the lake is just sitting on the shore and soaking up the view with the quiet company of a good book.
