Vermont Open Entry
Information

 

Low Gross: Sunday, June 13 – One Day Low Gross Tournament open to official Vermont Open entries. There is both a Pro and Amateur division. Starting times between 1:15-3:15 p.m.on both tees. Entry must be paid prior to the event. Prepaid entries will receive starting time preference.

Vermont Open Championship: June 14, 15 & 16, 2010. A 54-hole stroke play event. The top 60 plus ties will make the cut for the third round. The top 14 amateurs will be entitled to play in the third round, with those not making cut, playing before the Championship 3rd round has teed off.

Pro Senior Division: You must be 50 years old on June 14, 2010. This will be a 36- hole, stroke play event, held on June 8 and 9. Proof of age will be required at the Starter’s Tent prior to the first round. Please check box on application.

Purse: The professional purse is $32,000 with the top 25 positions receiving prize money. The amateur purse is $4,000.00, paying out the top 10 positions.  There will be a separate purse for VPGA and Senior professionals. The proposed purse is based on the number of entries in each division. The purse and the number of positions paid may be adjusted to the number of actual entries received. 

Entry Fee: The Professional Entry Fee is $295.00. The amateur entry fee is $195.00. The professional senior entry fee is $210.00 if you choose to play for 2 days. Senior professionals wishing to play in the 3-day event must pay $295.

Starting times: Double tee procedure will be used for the first two days, with 6:25-8:31 a.m. and 11:50-2:11p.m. times available. Second round times will be reversed from Monday times with the pairings remaining the same. Wednesday times will be determined by the total of the first two round scores, using the first in-first out method.

Prize Payment: Checks will be sent within 10 days from the end of the event. Amateur prizes may be used for merchandise at Saint Johnsbury Country Club..

Gas Carts: Available to all entrants. Please ride together when possible. No reservations required.

Rules Committee: Lake Morey and Vermont Golf Association Officials.  This committee reserves the right to: 1. Modify or change this program with all decisions are ruled final; 2. Alter any of the conditions and schedules related to bad weather; 3. To refuse any entry; 4. Enforce the rules of golf.
