This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing, where you can still enjoy some solitude. Located on the north end of Lake Moreywith views panning up and down the CT River.
How to get there from here:
Directions
Turn left out of the resort parking and take a left at the T of Lake Morey Road. Head Two Miles around the Lake and the Trailhead is at Avery Road. Follow the trail and head under I-91. Then continue to follow the blazes carefully until reaching the outlook.
