As a participant in the Vermont Pond Hockey Championships I acknowledge and accept that there are risks involved in participating in any recreational activity, I am aware of those risks, and am voluntarily participating in this activity with knowledge of the risks involved. I agree to accept any and all such risks of injury death and/or property damage. In consideration for being allowed to participate in this recreational activity, I agree to the terms of this waiver, release, covenant not to sue and indemnity agreement as set forth herein. On behalf of myself, my heirs, next of kin, assigns and personal representatives waive, release, absolve, indemnify and agree to hold harmless Lake Morey Resort and it’s subsidiaries, all Vermont Pond Hockey sponsors, and all members, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents or any other representative of Lake Morey Resort, all Vermont Pond Hockey sponsors against any and all causes of action, claims, demands, losses, expenses and liability. I am aware that due to Vermont Liquor laws, all alcoholic beverages consumed in public spaces, inside and outside, from the shoreline to the golf course but not including my guestroom, must be purchased from the Lake Morey Resort. I also give permission for my name and likeness to be used for tournament promotion via the official website, public relations campaigns and media campaigns for the tournament in the future.
